Thermal Associates
is a heating and air conditioning company servicing greater Glens
Falls including Warren, Washington and Saratoga counties.
We have been in business for over 38 years and it is our award
winning service that has kept us here. Marty and Marj DeVit, the
owners of Thermal Associates, have been running and operating the
business since its inception in 1972. The pioneers of the Glens Falls, Albany,
Plattsburgh and Adirondack regions for geothermal
heating and cooling systems.
In
2007 and 2008, Thermal Associates was voted by the Post Star readers
as “The best heating and air conditioning service company” in the
Glens Falls region with its first ever "Best of the Region
Readers' Award". We thank our customers for their trust and their
votes. We remain committed to providing the best service possible.
Thermal
Associates was a pioneer in air source heat pump technology during the
fuel shortages of the 1970's and 1980's. As a logical progression
Thermal Associates lead the way to Earth Coupled Heat Pumps, now
called Geothermal Heat pumps or even geoechange heat pumps. It just made sense that the warmer
energy source of the earth’s crust would be better for heat transfer
than our frigid outside air.
Over
the years, Geo Exchange (geothermal) technology has progressively grown into a
highly efficient system as produced by WaterFurnace. As people who
have been working with the heat pump technology for 28 years, Marty
DeVit and Thermal Associates are industry leaders in the North East.
Moving into our next generation Thermal Associates is ready to lead
the way into new technologies for our customers for many years to
come.
